as we were at the chocolate museum we found this
We went to a Schokoladen Museum, translated a Chocolate Museum…
first it starts as luke warm melted chocolate
then it is poured into a tray as seen on the right and then shaken to get it into all the cracks as seen on the left
then quickly frozen an romoved from the molds
then they are singled out and put into wrapper and into a bag
from a dictonary veiw he is right… from the common veiw he is a donut… i would know because i had a Berliner this morning it is a jelly filled donut with sugar sperinkled on top… i would of rather gone to Dunken Donuts… but i enjoyed Berlin
saw the Brandenberg Gate very cool
you can not see it but there is a Dunken Donuts and a Starbucks in this little city square
got to see some of the berlin wall which if you look very close you can see millions of pieces on gum on its sides but still very cool
then we got some things for our passports showing the different stamps like the French side, the British side, Check Point Charlie, and the Communist side
went bowling tonight with the fam and my dog max… more pictures on my facebook
only 1200 Euro
well this post is like two days over dew… i have learned that when you have an idea for blogging you should put it out there when it is fresh in your mind otherwise you will forget it… on Friday the 10 we went into Zurich and found the Lindt Chocolate Factory… now if you have ever been to a chocolate factory, you probably noticed the smell outside and if you were not watching where you were going you may end up running into things… we had asked if they gave tours but they said no… but the had a store around the corner… now i though to myself this is an ordinary candy store but when i had walked into it it was like a chocolate book store… check out a book, no late fees, and you did not have to return it…
should of got my mom and sister out of the store to save money but in the end we left with a basket full of presents, souvenirs and carry-on’s
not very impressed… we went to a Calvin Museum on the sunny day and then we wanted to go white water rafting but it rained and the people were not there to take us so it was kind of a dum trip… got to see some sweet cars and a bunch of Reformation buildings…
but we got to walk around and get gifts for people my favorite part was when we were walking over a bridge there was a duck with its butt up in the air it was very funny… reminded me of my ducks
but we ended up coming back to this house in Kandern and we are chilling till tomorrow… we go to Zurich and we are going to go to the Lindt chocolate factory and then chill the rest of the day there… my day and i found a music store… kind of like Guitar Center but brighter and now he is thinking about getting a classical guitar made in Spain because they are really nice and cheap over here and his was stole in Chicago or Kansas City when ever he was youth pastor
that photo makes me look fat but i have lost 15 pounds… and a new update i got a knife so i am out of money for gifts… but max is going to get a Swiss flag t-shirt so i will post that when he gets it
also and one last thing my dad thought this was funny it says ‘Gute Fahrt’ in German that means good drive or good trip but my dad thinks it means good fart
